A lot of people worry that this means we won’t get any photos of you looking at the camera. We will take time for those, but the main focus is on natural moments, connection, movement, and details.
No more yelling at everyone to look at the camera and say cheese. Trust me, it’s way more fun.

a mix of guided posing, and observing
You don’t have to know how to pose yourselves and “act natural” in front of the camera. I will guide you into poses that look and feel comfortable and authentic in your photos.
We’re not going to force your kids into a pose that they hate. My photo sessions are laid back, and low stress, and allow you to enjoy the experience of having your photos taken together.

Clean editing with an artistic twist
I keep my edits clean, with a mix of color + black and white images, but add some artistic touches with lighting, subtle color adjustments, and a touch of film grain for nostalgia.
Gone are the days where I follow trendy editing styles that will be looked back on with a cringe. Clean editing with a modern, artistic twist.

THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO CHOOSING A PHOTOGRAPHER THAN CHOOSING SOMEONE WITH A NICE CAMERA. It’s essential that your style connects with my style. We won’t copy a Pinterest check list because everyone’s too unique for that.
If you expect everything to be perfect from clothing being perfectly wrinkle free, the shoes your baby doesn’t want on her feet to stay on the entire time, and not a hair out of place, we may not be an ideal fit.
The wind in your hair, bare feet, a pouty face—the imperfect details—those are what breathe life into your photos. There is beauty in unexpected places.

You can see that my work is a little non-traditional. It’s not about everything being perfect—it’s about your connection and the memories being documented.
It’s so important to choose a photographer that has work that emulates photos you want for yourself.

Inquire
Fill out the contact form and tell me about you and your family! Where is your favorite place to spend time together—at home or in your backyard, walking to your favorite pond, or ice cream shop, camping in the mountains—let’s hear it! What are you envisioning for your photos together?

Choose collection
You’ll receive an email with the photo collections I offer and film and print add-ons that I have available.
Pay in full for a discount, or set up payment plan.
NO. 4
contract, invoice, questionnaire
You’ll receive an email with a contract, invoice, and a questionnaire. Once your invoice is paid and your contract is signed, your date is officially BOOKED!
You will want to fill out the questionnaire asap so we can decide on a location.

pre-Session
UPON BOOKING
Receive my welcome guide that include session tips, what to wear guide, and outfit inspo, and where I recommend shopping for cool clothes, both budget friendly, and if you want to splurge.

Quick check-in, review any details or changes

Photo session + Post-session
You can trust that I’ll show up and get to work for you, guiding and directing, but also observing natural interactions that take place through the lenses of my digital and film cameras.
Enjoy each other, and just let yourself enjoy the experience. Things are not going to go perfectly, but we can roll with it.
2-3 weeks later
You can expect to receive your online gallery to download, a print coupon, and a google review request.

One of my greatest joys is to take my camera on our family adventures, whether we’re hiking on a trail in the mountains, climbing around on boulders, or swimming in a hot spring.
