EBATES!!! It's basically awesome | Travel Photography | AirBnB Photography |
So I could link you to a ton of different articles that I read about Ebates but instead I'm just going to keep it simple and tell you what I figured out. Basically if you do any online shopping you should be using Ebates. It is super simple, doesn't cost anything, and you can get cash back for things you purchase online, which for me is a lot of things. When I say a lot of things I mean just about everything...batteries, toilet paper, socks, makeup, toothbrushes, pens, rice, you name it!
So, basically what you do is sign up for an Ebates account HERE and then make sure you install the Ebates button for your browser. If you aren't sure how to do this just Google it and it will take you right to the link you need on the Ebates page. You may have to use Google Chrome as your browser for this button to work but I could be wrong. The reason this button is handy is because it will pop up for you whenever you are shopping at an Ebates eligible store and you can activate your cash back. If you are curious about what stores are eligible for cash back through Ebates you can look that up on their website. There are also some stores that offer double cash back and those change here and there so you can watch for a certain store you love to shop at to offer double cash back before you make a purchase there if you want to get an even better deal.
Another nice thing about Ebates is that VRBO (where we rented our vacation home for California in the photos above), Expedia, Groupon Getaways and lots of other travel websites are eligible for Ebates cash back. Travel is a pretty big part of my life so I love that I can get cash back from my travel expenses. Since they are larger purchases, I get more cash back. Also, another thing to keep in mind and the main reason I wanted to write this blog post now is that during Black Friday they have a lot more stores that offer double cash back. So again, if you are a major online shopper, and/or a Black Friday shopper, then Ebates is totally for you.
I think that wraps it up for this blog post. HERE is the link again in case you missed it where you can sign up for an Ebates account. The only downside is that not a lot of things from Amazon are eligible and I do a lot of my shopping through Amazon. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy your shopping and getting cash back every three months, which can either be deposited into your PayPal account, mailed to you, or deposited into a favorite charity of yours which is pretty cool. Happy shopping!
