I always get super excited when I book a birth story. Birth photography is one of my all time favorite things to shoot. It combines two things I love into one—one, working as a nurse in the OB department, and two, documentary photography. There is no posing or directing a woman who is in labor. You just observe and document an intense, amazing, beautiful process. Kaycee did an amazing job and I’m so grateful she invited me to be in the birth room with her and her husband.
