Clark Family Adventures at the Bonneville Salt Flats

I’m beginning to recognize that real happiness isn’t something large and looming on the horizon ahead, but something small, numerous and already here. The smile of someone you love. A decent breakfast. The warm sunset. Your little everyday joys all lined up in a row.

Any time I’ve got an opportunity to do a photo session on the Salt Flats in Utah I am jumping on it! When Kolt asked if we could do their family session at the Salt Flats, even though it’s a three hour drive for me, I didn’t bat an eye. There is something really awesome about wide open landscapes that really intrigue me. There is such a vastness and sense of freedom. The ocean has the same effect on me. And anytime I can shoot at the ocean I’m jumping on that opportunity as well. Our earth is incredible, and I love photographing family sessions in such beautiful places.
