Best of Wedding Guests | Utah Wedding Photographer

I have felt so lucky to be able to travel around Utah to photograph weddings. Couples put so much thought and intention into how they celebrate their marriage and it is so beautiful. Obviously the main focus of the day is the couple. They are celebrating their relationship and their story and I love highlighting them in the photos. As I’ve photographed weddings and seen lots of social media posts and blog posts on weddings, often the photos shared are the perfect pretty ones shot at golden hour of just the couple. While I HIGHLY recommend these photos just for the couple, and also LOVE sharing them, I feel like sometimes everyone online gets caught up in only sharing those moments and it misses telling SO much of the story of the day. For weddings and elopements, my couples are very thoughtful of who they invite and love to create a meaningful experience with those they love the most and this blog post is all about highlighting the guests. I am so entranced with people and photographing a wedding is the ultimate people watching experience where I love to capture the dimension of what makes up the story of the day from the quiet moments to the crazy dance floor moments, it’s all part of the story.
