Top 5 Tips For A Stress Free Wedding Day | Salt Lake City, Utah Destination Wedding Photographer | Fine Art Photography

There are countless articles out there with tips on having a stress free wedding day. And if you’ve read any of them, you probably feel like you’re reading the same thing over and over again. I wanted to write this guide with 5 tips that will help you feel relaxed and calm on your wedding day that will ALSO create rich, meaningful experiences and memories to look back on. This guide will include 5 simple things that you haven’t already come across in all your reading. You can do all 5, or you can just choose 1 or 2. Either way, it is guaranteed to help you stay calm on your wedding day or in the week leading up to it. The other really cool thing about these tips is that they make for really beautiful photographic moments, etching your memories even deeper and allowing you to relive them each time you look back through your photos. These ideas will help to become grounded and to re-center so that you can really approach your wedding day with intention and presence.

If you’re ready to get rid of wedding planning stress, go ahead and scroll through. Make sure to read all the way to the end where you’ll find a bonus tip waiting for you as well as images that you can screen shot as a reminder. Want this guide sent directly to you? Sign up for the email list and stay tuned for the guide, along with 4 more really cool emails with wedding and elopement planning tips and ideas that you haven’t already seen—I mean, how many wedding timeline planners have you looked at already?  They’re a dime a dozen.

These tips go above and beyond to help you personalize your wedding and bring your vision to life.  They will cover everything from wedding details you probably haven’t considered, some of my favorite wedding vendors and companies, to one more freebie in the last email.  You’re not going to want to miss out!  Trust me.

Thanks for being here, and happy, peaceful wedding planning.

5 Tips On Finding Peace and Presence On Your Elopement or Wedding Day

TIP NO. 1 | MEDITATE

This doesn't have to look a certain way. Here are some ideas to get you started:

- Use the Calm or headspace app

- listen to music with relaxing sounds

- Repeat 1-3 intentions for the day

- Light a candle

- Repeat 1-3 intentions for the day

TIP NO. 2 | DO YOGA

Move your body, free your mind, and breathe out tension.

Get grounded in your intention and practice presence that will stay with you throughout the day.

TIP NO. 3 | TAKE A BATH

This can be a bridal bath, groom bath, or a bath with your partner. Light a candle, start some music, pour some epsom salts or dried flowers, and relax.

TIP NO. 4 | JOURNAL

Take a moment to write out gratitudes, write through your thoughts and feelings, and express what’s inside. This can be a space where you can speak your intentions onto the pages of your journal.

TIP NO. 5 | ESSENTIAL OILS

Scent the air with essential oils that smell beautiful to you. These scents will be tied to your memory of the day and have the ability to support a calm + happy mood.

BONUS TIP | EMBRACE

Both literally and figuratively, embracing can be an intentional act of connection, sharing love, and decreasing stress.

Don’t be afraid to embrace the day as it comes as well. Not everything will go perfectly, and that’s OK. Let it go, breathe it out, and embrace it.
